Thanks Marilyn for putting up with us! As you can see, we like to have fun. Those are some awesome pictures!

Now everyone is going to want to know the following:

    1) Do you hunt?
    2) How many acres do you own?
    3) Do you like visitors from MN?
    4) Are you single?
    5) Do you believe it is OK to marry someone just so you can hunt big bucks?

Thanks Indeed Marilyn, those are some great pics. Unlike that other site, mall of us here are Hunting Fanatics. We love seeing pictures of animals like that. Any time you feel like sharing you have a willing audience right here. Believe me, and I think I speak for most us, we can never see enough deer pics.

i will my best to send them as i take them.
i enjoy seeing them myself, if only for their beauty and to learn more about their interactions.
I had always wanted to become a Veterinary, But it did not pan out that way. Maybe in my next life !

all of these photos are indeed from my 3 acres. The deer move thru here freely- the only thing that excites them are Dogs.
I had one here the other day, have no idea where the pup came from but he wanted to play.
The deer had no idea as to his thoughts and right away the lead buck stood his ground with his antlers down ready to defend himself.
With that – behind him, i saw some does, nudging others to take up the attack if defence of the Buck. The Dog wanted no part of that and went his way.
its truley a pleasure to see things as such !

Man that would have been a cute sight I had a toy poodle that whenever she saw deer, she would book towards them but they would scatter before she got to them

i just posted these to your sister site, as well.
    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
a few more shots i scambled up for you.
Take notice of the deer with his front hoof missing- not sure if he got caught in a trap or what happened. He had a guardian that walked with his every step.
He’s not in the this shot, but every step the disabled Deer took the 2nd followed right behind as if to keep him moving.
That shot was taken last winter, and i have not seen the animal return. Sob sob

I love the pics of the sun glaring off those bucks It’s cool to see that some of those bucks have holes in their skulls from shedding!! Any idea how long it takes for those holes to close up before they grow again??

Great pics!! They must spar everyday

That Buck showed this morning- i can only beleive that he dropped them some time earlier this morn, or later last evening.they were still red with blood and the does were smelling him. i will have to check back thru my photos of last summer- i think i have some where they were in Velvet already approx june. But don’t quote me, as i say- i will check back thru my CD’s to be sure and send you some of those.
the sunlight does capture better photos, but if the grass was green, then all would even be better.. LOL
I was happy to see floppy ear showed up again- he was here last year as well- tends to keep to himself. photo #2

i can’t answer that as i simply don’t know, i can only guess that at one time he got gorded thru the Cartilage of that ear and ever since then – it does not stand up.

The first time for seeing him was last yr. he comes alone and he goes alone. Hes not frightened of me at all. either.

Some one told me that they ate Steak and tators- so thats what i had been feeding them.
Are they looking too chunky ?
the above photo is in regards to when they go into velvet here,
I think this photo was taken late June.

    Marilyn,

Keep the pics coming! Do you feed the deer or they just coming in on their own?
