The Best Christmas Present Ever!

    As many of you already know, I was very fortunate to harvest a buck this fall that I called THE WIDE ONE

    Tina surprised me this Christmas and gave me a gift that literally brought tears to my eyes. It is an original oil painting of the wide one that was painted by a wildlife artist named STEPHEN HAMRICK

    Stephen does a variety of wildlife paintings including sporting dogs, big game, birds and fish. He also does wood carvings and castings.

    The painting is absolutely beautiful and it brings back so many memories from that very special day. The background is where the deer lived and where he took his last breath (the 4th picture below is an actual photograph that I took). This is a Christmas gift that I will cherish forever.

    I just looked at his web site and some of the dogs look great…Ive always wanted a painting done of my dog…I had to e-mail him right away…Im thinkin hes going to be pretty spendy though..
