    Dylan nailed this slob of whitetail on opening morning of the 2007 Buffalo County Opener. He sat in one stand until noon and didn’t like where he was. He left his stand and hopped into a different one. Within a 1/2 hour of sitting in the new stand a doe appeared. Right behind her a 140″ was on her tail. He was getting ready to shoot the 140″ when this slob showed up right behind the 140″.

    This deer had 6″ bases and split brow tines. This was the biggest deer to date for Rutting Ridge Outfitters.

    Have you seen this Buck before on scouting trips or cameras????? Or any sheds from this boy????

    could you imagine pulling the trigger on a 140″ only to catch site of that guy running away…

    grosses 163…….the smaller buck was right around 145 inch 10 pointer

    Nope…Never seen this deer before.

    Not to bad of a year. This year we only allowed 10 hunters to hunt our leases. We ended up 6 for 10 so far, got two kills on film. Plus we still have muzzeloader and 2nd season bow hunting to go. What a great 1st year…
