How do I dispose of the deer after I’m done

    butchering it. This year is the firts time I tried to butcher my deer. What do you with it when your done. Can you just throw it in the garbage or do you have to take it some where. My wife thought there my be some MN stste law that said it can not go in the garbage can.

    I might get jumped on for this but………

    We always toss the remains in the middle of the field and wait for the Yotes to come in then

    The hides can be donated to a good cause! Hides For Habitat

    Otherwise Skull and bones get put in a bag and tossed in the trash. I hope there is not a law against that

    We have guys begging for our carcasses. They want them for ‘yote bait.

    right from the regs book. Hunters who process their own deer may not dispose of carcasses
    on public land, including wildlife management areas, state
    forests, road rights of way or in any water body. Deer carcasses may
    be disposed of in the following ways:
    • On private land with the permission of the landowner.
    • Through your refuse hauler after checking on how to properly
    bag the carcass.
    • At a local landfill.

    Put it in a bag and in the garbage. Did it last year without problems
