Hope you weren’t sitting on him when he got shot. That would have been too close for comfort.

    Awesome buck. Congrats.

It was 8:10 in the morning and a doe came through first and you could here him coming with the scrating of the antlers and him being in dead rut. He was pretty loud compareds to most big bucks. Had one thing on his mind. And that was doing some . He came in a 7 yrd and i drilled him in the neck. dont know why but i shoot everything in the neck if it is ten or 400 yrds. then you dont have to track them. Also you know you are going to just wound them they are dead on impact and i love that. Know i get to find a new cape though 300 ultra mag did a little damage. He is a ten and i havent had him scored but the bases all the way to the g3 is bigger than a pop can. I am 6’7 and 360 so that might give you a little more insight on how big this deer really is. 21 3/8 wide. Brows are a little short but g2’s and 3 are nice. Never seen this deer before opening morning. Might of had a few beers after this deer.

Crossin- I thought the story was going to be a Lindy with a 12ft snell or Clown Hunky Jerk 140 feet back. Just Kidding. Nice deer buddy.

Wow, 2 years ago I harvested a nice buck with my muzzle loader which had a bullet entrance and exit hole through it’s neck and you would never know he had been wounded. I assume it was a slug as it looked a couple weeks old.

yeah if i hit them with a 300 ultra mag at 3200 fps it is a little different than a slug.

That is a great buck Since you are so big, you should stay farther behind the antlers next time you take a picture

I would have had a few also!!
