Well after 6 years of deer hunting i finally got my first deer and it was a nice one. 9 pointer and weighed 185. I got into the stand about 2:30 and at about 2:45 i seen him running across the field. So i used my doe in can and tipped that a few times and he stopped, walked around with his nose on the ground and ran back into the woods where he came from. 15 min later i used the can again. No more then two min later he was back in the field. He walked about 75 yards out infront of me in the field and walked in the woods. Then another 15 min later i used the can again. No more then 1 min later i heard him makeing a scrape about 40 yards away from me. I could not get a shot becuase there was to much brush in the way so after makeing the scrape he walked strait towards me then finally i got a good shot at him about 20 yards away and dropped him right there wow was that the biggest rush i have ever had in my life and huge relief that i finally got a deer and it to be that nice of one.
