Got in the stand at about 5:30am. Kicked up a deer going to my stand not sure what it was..Had a little buck and 2 does come to me on the trail at about 10 yards..No big boys ..anyway all year bow hunting Ive been seein fox almost everytime Im in the stand…I usually dont shoot other critters when deer hunting but ive been Bow hunting 3 weeks straight with no big boy in shooting distance and the fact that I shot two does for meat some time ago the release finger was getting itchy..This guy came in with two others at 42 yards…I squeeked my lips and they stopped..I thought what the heack Ill give it a try. I used the arrow I shot the does with so if I lost it no big deal…Well I got lucky and hit it…No noise or running off..good clean kill..Probably saved a grouse or phesants life today ..The pics were taken when I got home, Wife thought I was crazy takin pics of a fox…But I thought it was kind of cool…You other bow hunter shoot varmets when hunting or typically not?..I try not to as I have enough trouble gettin the wall hanger…Jay

Nice shot dude! Coons, possums, coyotes, ditch tigers, squirrels, they all get an arrow, depending on how bored I am. I am up to three yotes this year with the bow. Only of course when they are in season though!!

Thats a cool little beast. Nice shot. Should make for a nice looking pelt.

Ya if that came past it would get an arrow and I would get it mounted. I am really wanting to take a coyote with my bow!

Nice one! I usually don’t shoot unless I’m ready to get down in the morning. I have one fox under the belt from way back. That was also a late morning shot.

I can’t wait until I’m good enough with my new bow to hunt with it. I know I could get a good hit with it but I still don’t have confidence enough to try. I don’t want to wound something and not have it go down. Maybe next season.

i used to shoot squirrels when they would come along now i really don’t care to shoot them. I have taken a possum while it was in a tree and listened to the blood hit the leaves below it fun stuff

42 yards – great shot RVRRAT! I too would love to take a coyote or a fox with my bow.
