Well this past week the bucks here in Iowa are really on the go.I have been in the woods 31 times out of the 37 days it has been open here in Iowa. With the recent winds on monday and today I am going to work.I have had many encounters with some smaller bucks also a dozen or so in the 130 inch range.I still have not been in range of the big boy yet.I will be off of work from Nov.7th to the 14th. Hopefully I will be able to put the hammer on the big boy .Good luck hunting everyone, and be safe.

Good luck Tony and I hope you get a shot at a wallhanger. The next two weeks ought to be kickas-, the bucks are really moving here. The future son in law shot a 135″ saturday with huge mass around 200 lbs. He got up off his bed when he was going to his stand and came back an hour later, hit him from the top front and exited the bottom, ran 80 yrds and down he went. Good luck Tony and post some pictures when you get them.

Tony, do you have the green truck with the Matthews sticker in the back window? I killed a 152″ 10 pt. on Halloween night west of Lansing.

That was a wild guess on if that was you or not. The ground you are hunting has some deer, but also alot of people at times. I was in the gray truck with a rack on top. Had a stand taken east of you last week. I’m done this year, but my bro may hunt a couple times there late week. Next time I see you I will stop and chat. Good luck and keep warm.
