These were taken October 19th in NorthEastern Otter Tail County. They were found about 20 ft off the trail and around 150 yds from the hunting cabin. This land is about 1.5 miles from my hunting land.

October 29, 2007 at 8:15 pm #17868Yeah the one with its neck broken was carted around the cat tails for a couple of days longer before the other one died of exhaustion. The Cat Tails were trampled down all over the place like a labyrinth. Crazy Stuff!!!

October 29, 2007 at 8:30 pm #17870Nice pictures, Its too bad that it happens but it does quite a bit. There was a picture in the newspaper here saturday, Iowa today section, of two bucks locked together. The one was still alive when the hunter arrowed him, the other was already dead. They were both about 140’s. The buck that was dead had a broken neck. Hes going to have them mounted together on a table that rotates, he said that mount of those deer would be worth around $50,000.

October 29, 2007 at 11:22 pm #17882I would like to know who the fools are that would give $50,000 for two locked-up 140″ whitetails??? I’d say his estimate is high by about $49,500.
