    Congratulations Gobbler on a true trophy! It always makes it special when you are able to harvest a mature buck exactly how you planned it. You kept true to your routine, you envisioned killing the buck before you ever laid eyes on it, and most importantly you set a lofty goal and you achieved it.

    Awesome deer, story and pics. It is nice to see someone smiling in their picture for once. Way too many of those serious, straight face pictures out there. Hunting and fishing are fun, why not look like you are having a good time instead of looking like you are pissed off?

    3 years ago today was a day i will never forget. Gotta love it. Thanks IDO for keeping the old posts around. i haven’t read this since a year ago and it takes me right back to the moment. Well, off to the stand!!!!
