Anybody hunting in this heat?

    Shot a doe last night with my 5 year old in the blind with me. Let her go an hour and found her, gutted her and filled her with ice, put some wood under her to let air circulate and took it to the butcher this morning right away and he said she looked great!!

    I have done this in the past as well and it worked great for me also, a 20lb bag of ice from Kwik Trip worked great, I keept the ice in the bag that helped keep the ice in place

    I used 4 7 pound bags and kept the ice in the bags and even at 70 degrees last night there was still ice in the bags this morning.
