I was crusing by the Menard’s “deer yard” and seen about a 130″ class 8 pointer with full headgear He was right next to the fence and following a young doe pretty close. Not that that means anything, but I was suprised to see a rack this time of year.

April 12, 2007 at 5:04 pm #30649It’s crazy how some people just don’t have enough skill or brains to get their kill legally. Use your spotlight and bow – You should pray that I don’t see you around my property!

April 12, 2007 at 7:08 pm #30654Maneck34….being that was your first post, it is the equivelant of going into a strange town and kicking the doors open at the local saloon with your guns drawn….. No harm done here, they were just kidding! There is no place for poachers in my book and Im sure everyone on this site will agree with that

Purely a joke here, sorry if you thought otherwise. I’m pretty adamant about not poaching. In fact I’ve turned a few in over the years.

April 13, 2007 at 12:44 am #30676Sorry fellas!!! I was HOPING it was all in fun. I’ve just heard of way to many stories and seen way too many signs of poaching in my area (and everywhere for that matter). It sounds like you guys feel the same way about the issue as I do. Again, I apologize …I don’t get to worked up about things, but poaching is one of them. With all that said – this is a fantastic site! My brother “iceman” introduced me to it.

BloodSportsPosts: 24BloodSportsPosts: 24April 28, 2007 at 2:26 pm #31349Hello Mark Johnson, Caincando1, Am Watson, Jack, big G, and Blood Sports! Thanks for showing me the IDA ropes (a bit embarassing I must admit)…:o You all sound like fantastic fellas. My big bro Chad (iceman62) introduced me to this site a while ago and I’d like to take a more active role in the BSin’! I am an 8th grade physical education/health teacher at Valley View Middle School in Bloomington, MN. I reside in Prior Lake, MN but my roots are in Blair, WI. I’m interested in getting out and finding some good trout streams and other fishing holes here in MN as well as finding some places to bowhunt whitetails. In college I was in paradise (Winona State University). We all know how spectacular that area is for us outdoorsmen. The outdoors are also fantastic back on my father’s farm in Blair, but it isn’t easy to get back that often as it’s 2 1/2 hours away. Does anyone out there competatively bow shoot? Where around Prior Lake can I go? I’d love to hear back from you guys! Take care!!!
