These are from Iron Mountain area. Kind of makes you think about always carrying a handgun in the woods.

Wow, over 3 minutes of action in front of the camera, this deer did not make it.

That is one tough Bobcat, makes you think a Tabby might be able to take down a Lab!?!?!?!

Absolutely killer photos! I was lucky enough to see a bobcat when bow hunting a few years back. There are more of them around down here in Iowa than there have been in a long time. The DNR actually took them off of the endangered species list a couple years ago since the population has increased. In any case those are fantastic photos. I’ll bet whoever owned the camera was looking over his shoulder if/after he previewed the photos out in the woods.

I’m guessing that is a fawn?

Bobcats are quite small and it looks pretty big to that deer. I can see a bobcat taking a fawn with ease. The do got some big paws!

A buddy of mine hunts Bobcats and has said that Bobcats kill deer all the time. They jump on the deer’s back and bite till the deer goes down! I guess the kill site in the snow is a real mess to see. He has hunted down 40 lbs Cats east of Mille Lacs. They hunt them with dogs…….

Wow, that’s cool. I’ve always said, pound for pound, cats are the baddest killers on the planet. I’m personally not spooked by bobcats….. but big cats like cougars, scare the chit out of me.

You should see the 120lb. kitties running around the Black Hills of SD. My cousin shot one last year during an elk hunt. Pretty weird looking at pics of a mountain lion laying in the back of the pickup. I’m use to seeing deer and beer cans!!
