I dont post much on this site but read it everyday, i thought i would share my buck that i killed on the last drive on the 1st sunday of Iowa’s 2nd shotgun season. It came out of a thicket and i shot at him 3 times, hitting him on the third. Whats weird was he didnt move after the first two shots. I just kept raising the cross-hairs on the scope. He was at 138 yards. I green scored him at 148 1/4 gross. Debated on a full mount but money is tight, decided on a euro mount. Anybody have a good way to do a euro mount?

December 16, 2006 at 2:20 am #27258Great buck, man that has to go on the wall. Give yourself an early Christmas gift, besides taxidermists usually only require a deposit of half the price, you have months to save when you pick it up! Nice job!
