Got the o.k./permission to head up for weekend #2 of muzzle loader from the goddess of the house. Have to be back Sat night however. I just checked the weather in Wadena for Sat. morning @ 6 am 12 degrees F with 21 mph winds, feels like -6F, 7 am 11 degrees F with 20 mph winds, feels like -7F..

I’m by no means an expert on this, but from what I have ever seen deer don’t much at all in winds like that. The cold doesn’t bother me, but I’m wondering if I’m waisting my time this weekend to even bother going up. Not only that, I’ll be up all night stoking the stove as the winds are to be at 26 mph or so around midnight. 
Just wondering what you guys think……I’d make some good ol’ brownie points if I stayed home, and could for sure get back up there the following weekend.
