Deer hide prices

    What’s the prices on deer hides in your area??? We got offered $2 for small and $4 for big. That hardly pays for the salt!!!

    The last time I sold a deer hide I believe I got a whopping $4 for it. For the past few years now I have been donating my hides to the local Elks Lodge as they take them for charity. At $4 a hide it just isn’t worth the bother or the gas it takes to go and sell the hide.

    I get complete satisfaction, dropping mine in the big orange “Hides for Habitat” boxes. Priceless.

    Here in Buffalo, Mn. I got $7 large, $5 small. Or trade for gloves. This guy has a huge assortment on nice gloves. I ended up getting 3 nice pair of gloves for my 3 hides. He’s located on the NW side of Buffalo lake.

    i took mine to fleet farm for some killer coupons. I noticed someone said something about salt. i have never personally sold a hide and i am wondering if you have to salt them to sell them or if they will take them in any condition? ike

    You as the seller, do not have to worry about salting unless you are keeping them for awhile. usually the buyer takes care of that
