After 9 days of bowhunting and seeing no “shooter” bucks, this nice 8 point finally snuck up from behind me and presented a quartering away shot at ~26 yards on opening day of IL shotgun season. My buck of a lifetime!

I did a rough measurement before I took it to the taxidermist, and I scored it at at ~161 gross. The G2’s are 13-1/4″ and 13″ long, and the rack overall is very symmetrical, which combined with the incredible mass makes it a very pretty rack. I feel very fortunate!
