Well the big buck that has been living near my house, (About 150 yards away) was taken on Sunday afternoon. Now don’t get me wrong I want every hunter to get the deer they want but….He has been making my pond area by the driveway his home. I saw him there all day on Sunday and figured that he would be safe there. I have about a mile long driveway that crosses the dam for the pond. On the south side is where the pond is. I was in and out my driveway 20 times on Sunday and I graded the driveway with the tractor and he never once even moved. The neighboor got him so I am happy about that. I am just happy that someone I know got him but it was kind of sad to see him gone too as I have been watching him for 2 years. It is just bittersweet I guess. He should go about 160 inches. The only measurement that I got was the inside spread 21.5″ 11 point. Really similar to the one that I shot during first season.
