Nice deer…but watch where the gun is pointing if you want to pass down hunting to your kids

It was a pretty simple story behind this one. On friday morning down by Harmony it was cold, snowing and very windy and the deer would not move at all. My father, brother(brent07 on here) and i were out trying to get them to move, we pushed one small piece of woods and we only got two deer to move out of that piece so we moved to the adjacent piece and with it being the last day i had thought that if i saw a nice plump doe that i would take her, and as soon as we started the drive four nice does ran within ten feet of me but i just did not feel right pulling the trigger on some when the drive had just started. Then the woods went still for about five minutes and all the sudden out of the corner of my eye i saw this guy with two does and in the middle of the drive he was stopping in between my brother and i to rub on trees. They were down in the draw between Brent and i and did not want to come to the higher ground out in the wind and they finally had no other choice but to run right past me and gave me a perfect shot. It was a great experience to share with my dad and brother. And out of that small pieve of timber we got 13 deer total to move.

OH I think we will have to see on that one. Remember the guy that you speak of making the drive for you on this deer. If I think you might out do me next year I might have a change of heart and chase them the other way
No just kidding, congrats again on a great deer.
