    It is illegal to interfere with somone lawfully taking game but in that instance very hard to prove especially until you talk to them or warden or both. good luck

    Finally got an answer on target shooting on private land from the DNR. The lady says that within 10 days of the rifle season you can’t target shoot with any firearm that is legal for deer, exluding bows. She said that target shooting with a .22 is legal due to the fact that there is an open season in which .22’s can be used.(small game)

    I asked about hunter harrassment, and she said it would be difficult to prove. She suggested giving the CO a call and having him talk to the individuals, but not to confront them yourselves. Hope that helps!

    Well, in Zone 3, that breaks it down to any gun, other than slugs, and certain size pistols…… We can only use slugs and certain size pistols. Oh yea, muzzleloaders too.

    I don’t want to sound like a jerk here….but unfortunately, they are on private property and you really can’t do much to stop them from making “noise” on their land…..Sucks!

    Hey, shoot me a PM. I know a few folk down that way and if I know the people, I may have some insight how to discuss it with them.
