    I was wondering where evering is heading this weekend, for opener. I’m heading up the Red River Valley to the family farm for my deer hunting week.

    Unfortunately headed to Iowa to the folks house to roof! So can’t even get out and walleye fish! BUMMER!

    Leaving Fri. Morning for Togo, Mn./Bear lake area. Our family has hunted this area, public land for 50 years. Great tradition! I’m like a kid waiting for Christmas morning, I get all charged up for this. I think I’ll hunt the duration of the season this year, lots of tags to fill!! For those of you that hunt up that way, stop in and say hello . Can’t miss the Christmas lights strung through the trees along camp, Hwy65 on the hill south of the Lynx lake trail.

    Half way between Hill City and Jacobson, everyone have a safe and memorable hunt.
