A friend of mine sent me the pic so I dont know much but he said the big one grossed around 230″ and nets 220″ typical. If that is the case it would be close to a record.

Heading up to deer camp in 4 days, the pic’s get the blood pumping . I’d be happy with 1/2 the points and spread, I’m not a trophy hunter by any means, but a guy that likes to keep a old deer camp tradition going.

This ones the nicest typical i’ve ever seen anywhere. The last worlds record shot here with bow scored 203 5/8ths and i think is the present world record bowkill. They had an early blackpowder season here in early october and shotguns not open here until december, if this guy didn’t get this with blackpowder theres a good chance that this is a new worlds record bowkill, 220″ is unbelieveably big. I’ve seen a 170″ and a 190″ on the hoof here and this is alot bigger, hes a beauty and you couldn’t ask for a nicer spread on a deer. One thing nice is you don’t know that one like this might be walking around the area you hunt.

Bad news on this one folks. The word from over at Iowadeer.com is that this one was shot inside a high fenced area on Timber Ghost Ranch. Too bad…..I thought we had the real deal!!! Still one heck of a buck though!!

I bet that guys checkbook is about $10,000 lighter???
