    I just got this photo sent to me and I thought I’d pass it along. The details are unknown but this buck is apparently a crossbow kill on Ohio’s opening day. It score around 280″ B & C.

    If this deer is a wild fair chase animal then hats off to whomever shot it. If not then his pocket book is probably quite lighter. Still a monster either way.

    I agree….the guy looks pretty healty to me. Thus, why the need of a crossbow? Perhaps that’s too judgemental…sorry.

    I would guess there are different regulations for Ohio than in MN or WI. I still don’t have any details on this one, so your guees is as good as mine.
