With this cool weather comming in, I cant help but think of big bucks and lots of em” I hope one is close enough to shoot. I will be hunting the second weekend. This is my second hunt in as many years.

Tired. I’ve been working all night….. 
My friend hunts Ripley every year. Last year his son shot a monster buck that was in the ODN paper. Someday I’m gonna do it!

i’m going the first weekend. this will be the first time i go i cant wait. i’m going to bring my 5th wheel camper to stay in and i think my hunting partner is going to cancle on me, but i’m ready

Ripley can’t get here fast enough, Two years ago I had a monster 10 Pointer come blowing through my stand , I could’nt get him to stop for a clean shot 
and I have been hooked ever since. Gotta love the comradery up there

I agree Last year I was there at about noon friday. Gates where already open and the 
had already started.Met some neat people,
Had a buck come thru on two does trail tried everything to stop him for a shot nothing worked. Hell I think I could have been on the ground in froint of him and he woould have just gone around with his nose to the scent.

gutpile my partner had to cancel on me also. he forgot his dauter was getting married that week end. so he wouldnt be around for the rehersal. so i will be there for my first time alone also. i talked to a buddy who has hunted it many times. he gave me the map the millitary uses and pointed out some areas. i will also be camping. if you want to hook up on wednsday e-mail me a phone #

I am going first hunt as well. I will be by myself. I guess I will just sleep in my SUV. It should be a good time. I can’t wait. I just picked up my new summit climber last night for the hunt. I have already stuck a doe this year so now I am ready for that big buck.

Gutpile, PM me your cell and I will PM mine. We get there at 12, then set up camp, then head to Eagles landing for 18 holes. Then we hit the Fort for some grub, then cards and til about 10 or so, then
