WI Earn-a-Buck Pre-Qualification Status

You can check here to see if you pre-qualified for a buck tag that you should be getting soon for the Earn-a-buck units. You get one if you shot a doe last year in one of the EAB units

According to the database, I’ve already earned 1 EAB buck tag…..Does this mean when I buy my license that I will be get the buck tag immediately??

I believe that you will get your buck tag immediately, but to register a buck, you’ll need the EAB sticker attached to the back. That’s what I remember reading recently.

I guess that’s more what my question was, will I get the sticker immediately then since it says I’ve earned one already??

When/ how will I receive my buck sticker? Buck stickers may be mailed to qualifying hunters
in the late summer of 2006, once season structures have been established and the database has
been reviewed for pre-qualified candidates. The buck sticker will be mailed out to the address
consistent with the customer ID that the antlerless deer was registered to. Be sure to fill out your
registration stub completely and legibly to make sure you are eligible to pre-qualify for EAB.
Also, make sure your address is correct and up-to-date.
