Getting Closer

    I was able to get pretty close to this Momma with her 2 fawns the other day. Of course when I’m creeping up, both fawns were out and looking at me. I go to snap the pic and one takes off as the other takes a bite to eat. Only 2 more months.

    Nice job Lip! I’d rather look at those pics than those green “rough fish” you posted earlier this week! Them slick heads eat rather nice too come fall season! Looking forward to filling the freezer with back straps!

    Nice pictures Rob, I’ve been starting to get pumped up about this coming season to. Buddy has been talking non stop about drawing an archery elk tag for New Mexico in section 23.And also told me that he heard that the Primo’s guys will be shooting film on some 6,000 leased acres right next to me this year, that would be way kool

    It is getting closer and im pumped up.Im going to hang some tree stands this week and get some lanes cleared for shooting,and get out of there.These to stands are for the rut only.I won’t touch them untill then.Im big on not over hunting a stand.Sorry about the rambling on…… I could go on forever.I will shut up now.
