I believe NitroStinger tapererd carbons from Arrow Dynamics are even better than ACCs(which I shot for years).
I have never had a dissatisfied customer with these arrows or shafts…and they are priced between Eastons and GTs.June 20, 2006 at 2:00 pm #454962I’ve been an archery dealer for thirty years and sold/tried em all…Most carbon shafts out now are very well made compared to the early days when they were not straight and splintered all over the place.

I may be old fashioned but I shoot XX75 aluminum shaft arrows with feathers. I have found that feathers are more forgiving than vanes so for me feathers are worth the extra money. Until I invest in a new bow I will more than likely continue to shoot aluminum shaft arrows. I don’t see myself investing in a new bow anytime in the forseeable future as the one I have works just fine. The deer can’t tell the difference whether the arrow is flung from a brand new Switchback or from an old lobber like my bow.

June 20, 2006 at 5:03 pm #18003I debated on posting to this queston, because it is way to early for me to get all wound up on something that is still 3 months away.
Too late, it bit me and I have got the fever
I have been shooting Carbon only for about 4 years now. I have shot a few and I’m very satisfied with Carbon Express Terminator Selects. Teamed up with Steel Force Sabertooth 100 grain broad heads, I have put the hurt to some mighty big deer and this set up gives me all the confidence in the world. My last two bucks scoring a combined gross of 315 inches did not even make it 100 yards combined after the shot.
They are priced quite decent also around $70 bucks a dozen, with being quoted being “THE BEST OF THE BEST” for shafts.
Now bring on September

June 20, 2006 at 5:30 pm #18008I’ve been shooting gold tip XT hunters and like those I have also recently tried the Vapor Pro series whitetail crested arrows that Blackhawk archery makes for Cabela’s with vary good results. What do you guys think about the Hidden Insert technology on the axis and black max arrows? And Lip ripper it’s never to early to get wound up about archery

June 20, 2006 at 5:46 pm #18010I hear you about getting wound up about Archery, but it is more time I have to wait wound tighter than a top, if I start now.
