what i ment is you wouldnt take a rotary engine to be worked on by a guy who deals in ford type engines, only a few smart people can work on them rotary engines.

I guess I am what you would call old school when it comes to bows

I have had two bows for hunting in my life time the first one was a Martin Wart hog all wood bow that I bought in 1985 I still have that bow but do not use it any more. The next bow I do not remember when I got it was a Golden Eagle Predator, it is plain Jane compared to the new bows today but it gets the job done for me, it may not be as fast as the switchback but it is deadly accurate. I do plan on putting a new site on it this year.

The numbers on the bows of speed dont really play a big part of me buying one, as long as its not loud and shoots straight and is light to carry is all that matters. this is going to probably be my last bow purchase i make so i want it to be a good one

I shoot the Hoyt V-Tech. I shot the Switchback before settling on the Hoyt. Both were smooth as all get out. The only reason I bought the Hoyt, was because at the Matthews dealer, some kid about 15 was helping me, and didn’t really know what he was doing, as far as my opinion. At the Hoyt dealer, it was top notch. I don’t think there is a bad bow out there, just better advertising and hype. JMO
