Well i have been shooting in an archery league out at the local archery shop. It has been going on for six weeks and is going to continue for another four weeks. This is my first year of competitive shooting with a bow so i didn’t know what i was getting into at the age of 15. The first week was tough i shot 161 out of a possibal 360. I have been getting progressivly better as the league season goes on. When we started i was getting beat every time by the other two guys in our small group that makes up a big league standing. So i am proud to say that i have beat the other two guys in my group for two weeks in a row here and have been getting better. Yesterday at our league i shot 275 out of 360. and the week before i shot 261. I am pumped to see what the weeks to come hold. ( i beat the guys i was shooting with by over 20 point and there 40 and older ) so i just thought i would share what i have been doing to keep myself busy over the winter. whats any one else been doing?PS Ilove my switchback XT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its all about practice, and any reason to get out there more will help you. Just think the the deer will get next year.

Great Job Nick! My college football coach always said “Practice makes Permanent”! Just think how much easier it will be this fall? I love shooting bow because it is so inexpensive to reload and shooting 3D targets is a blast! Keep it up! 690reece

Do they still have the shoot at Viroqua FVW? Those are great ways to get ready for the real thing. Different distances and numerous targets, yeah practice makes clean kills.
