Here is a picture of Stacies Dad (Jack)and his Muley he took off their land in Western SD during rifle season around Thanksgiving. Her brother had this nice buck coming down the hill the night before, but just lost the light by the time the buck came in within range of his rifle. The next morning they stalked this buck back up the hill side, where Jack finally got a shot at him.

I’m heading out there today and it will just happen to be their 2nd Doe season. So spending time at her parents house, means I will have to tag along with her brothers in search of a Muley or Whitetail doe. Darn, I have to go hunting and spend qaulity time with her family

I’ll take some pics and vidoe hopefully.

Everyone have a fun bust safe New Years weekend.

You can see part of the hill where this buck used to hang out in the back ground.

Nice looking mulie! I’m feeling sorry for you having to go spend “quality time” with her family! That must really suck! Good luck!

    Nice lookin Muley, Rob!

I thought I’d help out with a little Fill Flash option in the first picture. Hope ya didn’t mind, Rob!

With so many people using digital camera they need to take a good look at what they just took a picture of. People…. use your fill flash option on your cameras. EVEN ON SUNNY DAYS!

Rob, Thanks -That’s another cool pic. I enjoy lookin’ at the differnt scenery on these posts almost as much as the monster bucks. I think sometimes we (hunters, fisherman/women) get two caught up in the game we’re chasin’ and miss one of the greatest parts of chasin’ that game; getting a chance to spend time in places like that pic. – Don’t worry, I’m not gonna recite a poem or anything………just wanted to throw that out there.

    Have fun out west

Golden ‘EYE makes a very good point. The pursuit is as much fun as the kill itself. The different parts of the country and the topography of the land makes all hunts special. Even the flatlands have their own beauty and mystique to them. To some the sage country of Wyoming or the Dakota’s is ugly. To me, it is awesome. Especially in the summer when the breeze carries the smell of sage through the air. It is all just plain and simple awesome
