Went to the farm i hunt today and talked to Norm. He’s not farming anymore because he hurt his back and is now an electrician. He told me he’s not feeding cows or hogs anymore and didn’t plant any corn. He told me to go on back and take a look so i did. He used to plant 180 acres in corn and now to my surprise its over the head high switchgrass with deer walking all over in it right next to the bluffs of the creek. I took a look around and seen more big buck rubs than last year and the same amount of smaller rubs so im hoping i can rattle in a nice buck easier this year than last, which i didn’t see one last year at all, maybe this season. I doubt if it will be the first time there and probably have to go often but it sure looks better than last. Maybe i’ll get lucky.
