My hat is off to you Darin you are a true spotsman that’s what it is all about. Good things happen to good people you set a good example for this young man and I would not be surprised if he does the same for someone else some day.

Great buck and story .A friend on stand sunday heard a shotout in the field,and saw abuck come in to view from that way.He was going to shoot,but the buck got shaky and tipped over.He waited for the hunter to come get it,but no one showed,so he walked out to the field.There was a young hunter in the field walking the other way.He yells to him,then heads over and asked if he had shot.the young man says yes,but he thinks he missed,cause he could’nt find any sign.There was no blood until it dropped.He tells him its layin in the woods.He said it made his day when the kid seen the buck layin there,his 1st and a 16″ 8 pointer.
