I want to hear you guys/gals opinions on trail cameras? What do you like about yours? What makes your brand better than another? If were going to buy 2 or 3 new ones today, what would they be? Keep the feedback to Digital please, I am not developing another picture

There are a few in the $80 -$100 price range. I made a post a few weeks back looking for feedback on 3 models.

I’ve used both the CuddyBack 1.3 and 3.0 trail cams. The 1.3 was a disaster, and dealing with CuddyBack(Camtraker)as a company was also a disaster. I had purchased the 1.3 model a few months before they released the 3.0 model and then I didn’t use it for about 4 months. Then when it didn’t work I tried to get some help from their customer service. They ended up wanting me to send it in to get a firmware upgrade that was going to to cost me both shipping and firmware replacement costs. After telling them the camera has never worked since its purchase they said there was nothing they could do since the camera was purchase more then 30 days ago. So I said the hell with them and returned it to cabelas(they take everything back) and got the 3.0 model for no extra cost.
The 3.0 model works flawlessly and takes great pictures. Love it.
If money is an issue, I still have had great luck with the cheap 35mm Stealthcams. And you can get 5 or 6 for the price of 1 cuddyback.

Here’s a pic of the buck I’ve been hunting with the stealcam.

We sell a Moultrie camera for $99.99. I think it is a 1.3 megapixel. The pictures look very good when the camera is plugged into the TV. They do not look that good printed out. We also sell the Cuddieback. This is an awesome camera, but $400 is tough to spend. Personally, if I had $400 dollars to spend, I would buy 4 Moultries. Then I could scout 4 areas instead of just one.

I have 2 Moultries , all of the pics I have posted this year have been from them. I bought mine on Ebay 2 for 180 and free shipping from Bamacameras. They do take lots of blanks from wind blown trees and grass but it doesnt cost you anything but disk space. I do get more pics from these digital cams than from film cams . I like em
