Yeah its a spotlight . We have a real problem down here with head hunters . I find several headless deer down here every year. The DNR is really cracking down but they cant be everywhere. They stopped a hunting buddy on his way to his bow stand last year walking back thru a corn field. I hope they bust em this year. Had this been a shooter my camer might have a bullet hole in it.

Dave didn’t they bust some guys a few years back down in your neck of the woods with a trunkload of racks. They were from tennesse or somwhere down there. I know they got em good when they caught them.

I wonder if those guys saw the flash from your camera?? That might freak them out just a bit if they did. I hate that kind of thing

Yea!!! I bet that camara flash scared the crap out of them!!! They probably won’t be back!!!

Yeah , they caught a group of guys from Louisanna with a load of nice racks. They were shining those bucks at night and coming back to those areas in the morn and wacked em with a highpower.They hung around to long and someone turned them in. They had several racks between 150 and 170 . They got their guns and gear and was trying to take their trucks but I dont know if they got them. Plus 4 grand per deer and hunting priviliges . They would have got some jail time if I was the judge.

Have you reported this? I would inform the DNR of your photo, maybe they can redirect some of their efforts towards your neck of the woods and get these guys!!
