    no im sure its where they caped it out to take it to the taxidermist. thats how you bring a deer to them.

    no my dad dosent charge any thing more if you bring the whole deer. in fact if you arent sure how to properally cape a buck out for mounting im sure your taxidermist would rather have you take it to them and let them do it instead of not doing it properally. my dad has had alot of capes cut to short becuase people cut under the front shoulder instead of behind it, leaving him with a heck of a job stretching it to fit the form. alot of people also bring the whole hide like in this picture
