well i finnal start to hunt today for the 4th time this season time to get out there and shoot a big one! hope that all the hunters on the site get out this weekend there should be some big boys up ruttin around! time to get out a shoot one wish me luck! unfourtunatly i have to shoot a doe first in the zone im hunting in but the mr. buck is goin down

Yeah if Nick is hunting the Madison area… it’s earn-a-buck unit. You need to shoot a doe before you can hunt a buck.

yeah im hunting in southern columbia county. i shot a doe last night with a good blood trail but i can’t find the deer. I went out to look this morning and i found the blood trail again but then it just stops so i don’t no what happened im going out again tonight to try to get another but i feel really bad about this one so i don’t want to go out till i find her!

by otsego so ya right around the lodi/ arlington area! i saw some beautys over the weekend i was tempted to pull the trigger on the biggest buck i have ever seen down there but i didn’t have a doe yet unfourtunatly what happened thursday night. i saw somewhere around 25 or 30 different deer over the week end with 7 or 8 different bucks with nothing under a 4 pointer 
. But the neighbor guy shot a nice wall mounter that one of my buddys tagged for him! that was an awsome deer

Is it legal to put a tag on a buck that someone else shot with a bow?I know you can’t do that here in Iowa with bow. You can while party hunting during gun season.

You can’t do it in Wisconsin either… just gun season and muzzleloader season.

ya then it finnally switches back to either or for the late bow season which we haven’t had for the last 4 or 5 years! i hate this CWD crap its time they give it up! they haven’t had any more cases of it have they?
