Allegedly A Buffalo County buck

    Got these pics in a email from a friend with no info on the buck, anyone else seen these?

    Why doesn’t the flash on those trail cam’s startle the bucks?

    Must be the same reason that a spot light on them does not startle them, I have heard that it is not the flash that will startle them but the film advance noise from a camera that is not digital.

    I think hes around 190″, what do you guys think. Hes a nice one for sure.

    My guess would be from 190″to 210″

    If the iowa state record still holds at 203 5/8ths for a typical and its over that hes a record. I counted 16 or 17 points, what do you guys count. Hes awfully close in inches i’d say.

    I saw these pics last year and heard it was near Hinkley, MN where it was spotted on the trail cam. Never heard anything after that……

    Saw these pics last year too. They were posted on a board at a factory in Hawkins, Wi. All the caption on the back of the picture said was Rusk county buck. That was enough to send the whole town to shine everynight for weeks on end. Knowone ever came forward to admit where/when these were taken. looks like everyone has the same urban legend!

    Steve, don’t be telling everbody this was shot in Buffalo County , land over here is hard enough to get on the way it is, oh and did I mention the land is priced to high also! People over here are just nuts about Buffalo County….they think the deer know what county there are in Anyway about this deer, I saw these a couple years ago and a guy at work said they were taken by Menomonie and my brother swears he knows the guy who has the originals and it is a Chippewa County buck. I think they’ve all got buck fever I’m going to go out on a limb here and say this buck is currently residing in North America Great Hunting everyone……Brad
