Here is a couple pictures from opening weekend. My brother-in-law Todd Ritter scored on a dandy 8 pointer opening day. We saw lots of bucks but Todd was the only one to score. This was his first Bow Kill..not a bad start!

Here is the story behind the deer. This was shot up at my cabin near Park Rapids. The buck came in about 6:45 PM and was feeding on one of our Clover food plots. The Mathews Q2 did its job real well with a perfectly placed shot.
We saw a total of 9 different bucks between the two of us for the weekend. Two would have been shooters. Todd got his, my arrow hit a BIG branch and shattered First time for everything!!

October 12, 2005 at 9:22 pm #10570Here is a 9 point buck I shot in Illinois on Sunday October 8th. He was pushing a doe already. She was urinating all over herself when he came in and charged her from behind with his antlers. Then my arrow ended his hot pursuit.
Also I am submitting a pic from my hunting buddy Kirk who arrowed this nice 10 point two hours before me on the same farm.October 12, 2005 at 9:22 pm #389476Here is a 9 point buck I shot in Illinois on Sunday October 8th.
