arrows and broad heads have become expensive

I just picked up a half dozen cx300 and a 3pk of steel heads and it ran me $70+ good luck, if its an older bow you could get some alum. that will be a little cheaper but figure on at least $20 for broadheads

Carbon Express Terminator Select . One of the most true shafts on the market. Straightness of +-.003 and only like $68.99 Fletched to boot. This shaft is considered to be “the Best of the Best”

You can’t go wrong with Muzzy in my opinion, but I have been shooting the Steel Force Sabertooth Lock Downs and have been very happy with the performance and arrow flight. They kind of resemble an old Bear 2 blade but with some Kickers off the side to make it a 4 blade. This design seems to have the awesome penetration that the traditional 2 blades are known for, but still do a ton of damage once it does penetrates with those other 2 blades.

    My $.02

    Hi Castaway,
for everyone that replies to this post you will probably get a different answer. Here is my 2 cents, I have an older bow a plan Jain Golden Eagle with no cams but I still spent the extra money and went with carbon arrows because they will fly true every time, they will not warp or bend like aluminum can. The down side to carbon is that they will not bend but they will shatter. As for broad heads I have stayed with the same one I started out with and it has served me well a three blade Rocky Mountain, I believe in keeping things as simple as possible and the fixed three blade gets the job done for me.

castaway I shoot 100 grain 4 blade muzzys and Cabela’s carbon hunter arrows. Only 39.99 a dozen fletched cut and inserts. I shot a doe last year at 44 yards with a muzzy 4 blade with 62 pounds of draw weight and it went through her and stuck in a tree on the other side. If I wanted I could use the same broadhead on another dear. It’s still razer sharp!
