Hello all, this recipe will save you money. I use the scent eliminating sprays and know they work. Here is recipe for one that supposedly works as well or better than the expensive store bought stuff.

    Things to purchase:

    1) One gallon DISTILLED WATER.

    2) Two pint bottles of Hydrogen Peroxide (16 ounces each).

    3) Two boxes of baking soda.

    4) A new, clean bucket with a lid. Avaliable at hardware stores.

    Directions:

Mix one half gallon of DISTILLED WATER, two bottles of Hydrogen Peroxide, and two boxes or baking soda in the bucket. Stir until most of the baking soda is dissolved. Not all of the baking soda will dissolve, this is normal. Shaking the bucket with the lid on may work as well. Shake or stir occassionally over the next week. Next pour into clean spray bottles and use as you would the store bought stuff. Remember to shake well before use. Hope this saves you all some cash. Good Hunting and Be Safe!– Rob

I agree Musky Man, that is why I ask. I had great sucees last year with scent elimination. White Lighting was part of my arsenal, but at 7.99 for a bottle I was hoping the recipe from above was the same !

Rob, just check the ingrediants on your bottle and see if it is the same stuff. Be carefull they might list some of the ingrediants in the baking soda or something just to throw a guy off!!

Good point Gary! My ex girlfriend used it on her hair and let me tell you if it makes you that dumb just by putting it on your head….just think of what it would do if you sprayed it all over yourself…..some of us don’t need any outside help!

The bottles that I have do not have the ingredients listed. This should not bleach out your clothes either, I believe that peroxide will only bleach out totally natural, organic things like hair. I is also diluted enough so you should have no problems. I do not know which product this is supposed to mimic, I think they are all the same with the exception of that ill-fated carbon blast that mimics black spray paint itself. A friend that I emailed this to told me that mixing peroxide and baking soda together will react and could cause an explosion if in a sealed container. I think he is full of **** and I will be sure to let you know if my house blows up.

Now it makes sense why my medicine cabinet keeps exploding. It’s the toothpastes’ fault.

I believe that is the same recipe my uncle uses when his dog tangles with skunks. If it can eliminate that odor, I would think human odor would be a piece of cake!
