Game Ear or Woodland Whisper?

I’ve been considering one of the hearing enhancement products for a couple seasons now; but I just haven’t taken the leap yet. The Game Ear looks pretty spendy, where the Woodland Whisper seems a bit more affordable. Has anyone else tried these?

I have and use the Walker’s Game Ear and like it. I am deaf in one ear and partial loss in the other So I need all the help I can get. The Game ear I bought was in the bargain cave at Cabela’s and I paid $75 for it. It gets uncomfortable if you wear it all day, but it is worth every penny. If I could find a Woodland Whisper I would buy one to try it out. They are quite a bit cheaper.

I picked up a Woodland Whisper2 at Farm Fleet in Winona today, $29.99; hopefully get a chance to try it this weekend. The WW2 has a gunshot suppression, where the first model didn’t. Just in case I try it during gun season, and forget I have it in and shoot.
