bow season is open today. i couldnt sleep at all last night. my first year bow hunting. i have to work today at 10:00 a.m. but am going for a few hours anyways. good luck to all of you and have a safe hunt.

yep, I will be going this afternoon. Should be nice with the heat and skeeters

I will tell ya what, I am a die hard when it comes to deer hunting but holy mosquitoes!!!!! 
It was my first experience with bow nuthing but Im going to write that one off as I know that it cant be that miserable as so many love this sport. I will try er again just before dark, got some land real close to me to hunt, great travel time.

thanks bareback. i got to be in the woods from 6:00-9:00. didnt see anything but i was very happey with being out there. i cant leave a stand up over night where i hunt so i didnt take a stand or blind today. i am going to put one up on sun. night and hunt in it on monday morning. i found a spot no one will find it.(shhh) but the skeeters werent too bad where i was. i got a few bites but have had lots worse. talk to you guys later

give dave kramber at izaty’s a call, see if he will let you hunt over there. last fall there was a biggie running around over there. i seen him 1 time last year in the ditch along 27 about a 1/4 mile east of izaty’s road. it was after dark. i couldn’t tell exactly how big, but some other people that have seen him said he was a 14 pointer. that was during the firearms season. as far as i know he survived the season, don’t know about the winter though.

I went back out around 5 oclock last night just to do a little more looking, walked up on a doe and a fawn but couldnt get a shot, again the skeeters were out of control, I cant see putting a stand out till it cools off some. I will have my opportunities this year I am sure of that. Good luck to ya for tomorrow

I put a stand up yesterday and had 4 does go by before I had it up.It was cool to just watch em pass, they never knew I was there screwing in my tree steps. Its gonna be a great spot.

do you think he would let me? my sister and brother in law both work over there. are you talking about that big feild off of 27 by galloway road? thanks. also should i tell himt that u sent me to ask?
