IDA Whitetail Deer Contest Rules and Questions

IIIIIIIIIIIIII got a question for ya, so if one of the team members is having a time finding a doe or two is it against the rules to help a brutha out?

Say maybe tagging an extra one for one of your team mates, say if they are short on a deer for the contest and are out of time but you are in an area where you might still have time and can tag another one.

Erick and everyone else what do you guys think should we let a team member shoot deer for another team member? They are on the same team. I am ok with it if the majority here are ok with it.

I would vote for being able to shoot does only for a team member.

Thats a good idea, only shoot does for another team member, each team member can only shoot one buck. If no one has any objections this sounds good to me.

Thats sounds good Steve, helping your partners out if they are having a difficult time filling thier tags. Makes for a better season because we would do it anyway. Im assuming everyone can do this with shotgun but here in iowa im pretty sure you have to arrow your own deer and tag it though. Whats the rules for you guys up there?

ya this sounds like its going to be fun. Its another way to fill your tags and talk about tactics during the season. I’ll bet theres going to be some real shooters that going to be taken.

This contest sounds like a lot of fun. Wish I would’ve seen it sooner. Is there any way to extend this contest to more people if interested? Or is it too late with the existing teams being drawn?
