Steve this is gutted weight and not on the hoof, a guy would have to show his weigh tag from the processor or a scale picture. This might be too complicated too, you guys decide.

    Dan,
points are not awarded by weight take a look at the rules again……

6)Points will be awarded as follows:
-Each doe up to two entered(unless later changed) are 5 points each.
-Bucks are an automatic 10 points plus 1 additional point for each tine 1 inch or larger…(small tines need to be photoed with a measurement next to it to verify they are infact a legal 1 inch.)

I can see now where you were confused on FIRST BUCK, what we mean by this is first buck for the 2005 season not your first buck ever. So to clarify if you shoot more than one buck this year the only buck you can enter into the contest is the first buck shot of the 2005 season.

Steve i understand the doe scoring. I was saying that the bigger does could be scored like this to make it a little more appealing for guys to take a doe and get a higher score instead of the 5 points only. I understand the scoring now. Thanks

Is it to late to get in? I don’t get to hunt unit after the FLW Championship but come the end of October I will be out all the time.

To keep things simple I think we should stay with the 5 points for does. Not everyone will have access to a scale.

Steve, why not extend the deadline for another week. Is there any reason why we can’t. I hate too see a couple of guys without the third guy. The season dosen’t really get underway for me until it frosts or snowing anyway. Its your call.

We only need one more guy to make 18, I sent a pm to gutpile and recived a read recipt from him but no reply so I will assume he does not want in. I saw Rob on Sunday and he will jump in only if we need him to even out the teams. I will wait to here back from mwchiefs

I am pretty sure everyone in WI can take AT LEAST 3 does if they choose.
