Saturday I bought a pair of digital camera binoculars so I can take some pictures and send them to this sight,I’m pretty illiterate when it comes to doing stuff like that and could not get the camera to download the pictures to the computer or I just can’t find them.I keep getting a window that comes up and says {The imaging device failed to initialize.make sure it is properly connected, then refresh the folder}.It is all supposed to be compatible with the millenium program that I have.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Rick,

You might want to jump online to the maker of the bino’s and see if there is a piece of software you have to install to get this work? Or run a google search on the brand and error?

Try this, hook the camera up to the pc and go into the device manager and see if the camera is being recognized in there. That will tell me a lot. I’m assuming its using a USB connection?
To get into the device manager. Click Start, Settings, Control Pannel. From the list double click System. On the next window click the tab at the top Hardware then click Device Manager. From the list, at the bottom you will see the USB device, click the + sign to the left of it and see if your camera is listed. Let me know.

Word of advice, and not to sound to negative but Windows Me(millenium) is the worst operating system ever created. I would suggest up grading to Win 2000 or XP, it would be worth the money.
I work for a software company and we quit supporting ME years ago because of its stability issues.
