Cool to see……… but how did they get more than one camera angle?

In my mind…….. a deer should be able to flee a bear any day of the week but deer don’t always think smart.

Neat photos. Everything looks to be authentic but one never knows these days. If they are doctored photos whoever did them took care to make them look real. Reflections in the water and a few other things that add to the realism. My only question is the different camera angles. If these photos were taken by the same guy, he was moving around fairly close to the animals while all the action was taking place. That is what makes me believe these are doctored photos. Just the presence of a man moving around within 30 yards of these animals should have driven them off before the fight even got started. I don’t know a great deal about black bear but do they attack and eat venison in the summer when food is plenty?

These picture are real. They were in the march issue of deer & deer hunting. The deer couldnt flee the bear because its front leg is broken. They watched this all happen for 45 minutes. Eventually a police officer arrived and shot the buck and the bear fled. I dont know why they didnt let mother nature take its course. This happened on July 16, 2004 in Minocqua, Wisconsin.
