Tentative Opener for 2005

    The DNR has listed the tentative openers for 2005

    Small game/Bowhunting-September 17th
    Pheasant-October 15th
    Deer Gun-November 5th
    Duck-September 24th or October 1st

    Fishing opener is set for May 14th already.

    Just thought some of you guys would be interested in those dates for your new calendars.

    I would have to assume the Nov 5th date for gun deer is for the T-zone hunt???? The season always starts it’s 9 day season the Saturday before Thanksgiving…..
