Well I guess another big buck takes a toll in my neighborhood. My neighbor Victor Peterson shot 
a pig this afternoon. Only about a mile from our places. Victor and his fella hunting relatives decided to drive a patch of snake grass down along the creek. They got a doe and this buck in the same spot. It can’t be a patch more than 10 acres. None of the drivers knew where he came from, but Victor seen him coming and made a mad dash to get in shooting range. For some reason the buck stopped long enough for Vic to get a shot off. He hit paid dirt. The shot knocked him down, but may have been a spine shot. The buck was unable to get up and Vic took another shot to put this magnificent trophy down for good.
I did some scoring on this boy. He has 27 1/8 and 26 1/8 main beams. G 2’s both measured 13 2/8 inches! 
G 3’s are 12 2/8 and 11 6/8! I went to Boone and Crocket with my numbers had them calculate his measurements and to get n the all time records you need a score of 170. Boone and Crocket form has him at 173 2/8!! 
Vic shot and real nice 8 pointer during bow season that he is getting mounted. He isn’t sure now, he might pass on the 8 pointer to put this baby on the wall!
Vic’s wife, Jamie asked me…”Is that a big BUCK?? 
P.S… Did I do a good job at picture taking??? I love that backdrop in this picture. Like Vic’s cousin said…”Looks like the picture was taken out in the Dakotas!”
