Went out bowhunting this morning. Had a nice 10 point come in and at one point he was at 10 yards but was facing me. He turned and went quartering a way up the trail. I have a nice shooting lane cut, but because of how he came in I had to take my shot on the edge oth the shooting lane. Well I think u all know the rest. He was at 16 yards when i released. Then smack My arrow hit the v of a little tree and I missed the Big Boy 
. The arrow still shaved some hair off of him but the razor blade must have just nicked him. There was some blood on the ground but just pin head. He came back to investigate what had happened but never came back in close enough to get off another shot. By the way i mention a little blood, the arrow had absolutely zero blood on it so it was just a flesh wound on him. I am just happy it didnt deflect int a real bad hit 
. Well i will give it another try in the morning.
