Camo choices

As I have been gearing up for the fast approaching bow season I went through my camo to do the annual inventory of clothes. My top choice is Predator camo and just about all I own. It seems to blend in so much better in this part of the country than many ofthe big names, in my opinion. Deer seem to look right through me. My favorite pattern is the Fall Grey all through the season until there si snow on the ground, then Winter White dominates in the woods. What are your favorites?

I think he sold the company, not sure on that tho. I know they use to own Trail Hawk tree stands and went out of business because they could not compete with all the companies that make Tree Stands overseas.
Really makes me mad as I really love the Trail Hawk stands, I have two of them and would like more, if anyone has one and would like to sell let me know.

Anybody use the Apparition “Skyline”? If not check it out I too have had deer look right thru me with, within 10 yards. The only problem I have is it’s time for some replacement camo and I can’t seem to find it anywhere…..Cabela’s, Bass Pro, Scheels, Gander…..The stuf I have I found at a local CO-OP. Maybe you have the web site for that one too Steve?

Muskyman! That is the Camo Top I was wearing when I took my big boy in the Deer Pics #1 thread, Ithink???. I bought it while I was on some snowmobile trip in Michigan at a Gas Station / Sporting Goods store. Go figure. I have experienced that snow really messes with there sight. I have been able to get away with some cool and really close stalks when I have any type of white camo on. Just seems they can’t pick things up as well with snow and I’m able to get away with way more movement than normal. But my favorite camo for the land I hunt is probably RealTree Hardwooods HD. Although I probably own a little bit of everything.

I totally agree that the predator camo is pretty real life looking. I guess it just depends on the area that you are hunting, I am going to give the new Advantage Max-4HD stuff a try and see how that works out.

I worked there building treestands for awhile and had a ball. We spent a lot of time talking hunting and shooting our bows at work. They had the best climbing treestands, in my opinion. Mine was stolen last year and there is no way to replace it . I will check out the online store and see how there prices are. I just got back from Gander Mtn. and noticed all the camo seems to be really dark and blotchy. If Predator goes under I might have to quit hunting…..NOT .

I have a 3D scent lock suit, I believe the pattern is Real Tree Advantage??? I also tried using the new digital Woodland pattern used by the military. It works awesome for me in the Wisconsin Northwoods too. I like the Predator stuff too. I always seem to have plenty of CAMO!

I think I could come up with a new pattern, just use a little bit of every kind of camo I have. I never turn down a good buy on camo, just not to picky on what it is. I think it messes with the animals minds when they see some shadow grass, mixed with hardwoods and a little predator.

I also have some Real Tree Advantage that I like but you can not get it any more it was replaced with Hardwooods HD.

Finally got my hands on some of the montona prairie grass camo. Stuff is nice looking, expecially if you are heading out west to hunt.
